Did he leave before the truth emerged from Chris about his engine and the shocking customer service he received?

I think it deserves a new topic myself

15-Q. Is it dangerous to increase the power of my T5 to over 300 bhp?
15-A. This is a myth!!! The T5 engines can handle well over 300 bhp safely, as can the transmission.

LOL .

Theyre blaming him for blowing the head gasket on the loan rover? muppets! Shows how much they know about cars!

Fair play on him for naming and shaming this company. Hope he sues them out of existance.

I have kind of followed stories of modifying Volvos on here over the years, and am I right in coming to the conclusion that:

Volvo Tuning - Bad
Don Kalmar Union - Good

???

I seem to remember a load of argy bargy about it a year or so back and Don was the only one who stayed around on the VOC Forum afterwards - or have I got this all wrong?

Shocking story anyway, he needs to progress things through the card company and amass the evidence for the card company. Even if VT go bust then the card company is liable. Shouldn't need to go to small claims.

I suspect he left for 2 reasons - 1. being fed up of being associated with a clown & 2. he probably made a lot of money from his little venture out of mugs like us and realised all good things come to an end and ran all way to the bank to withdraw his dosh before the s**t hits that ginormous fan they have on there dyno.

I'd say so....

Considering the anual turnover for 2006 of Chip Tuning Ltd (Not Hardy and Laurel Motorsports)
Was £198,311

With £65,274 cost of sales

Grossed them £133,037 profit.

Subtracting £81,599 "administrative costs"

Left them with an operating profit of £51,688. to split equally between the 2 shareholders.....

So he'd be waddling off down Bromsgrove high street with a cool 26K in his sack!

Whilst customers like myself and Chris are sat here with lame ducks of bodge jobs thousands out of pocket!

And if my understanding of their business is right, a large amount of that "administrative cost" will be salaries paid to them.
