Yes! My car is reborn! At Scandinavias biggest event for enthusiast cars which is held during the easter holiday in Jönköping we have the opportunity to show the car for the first time! Click on this link:

From barn find to cover article! Probably the first Volvo 165 to be on the front cover of a car magazine! Although I´ve now learned that my car was featured with a picture and small articles in at least three car magazines when it was new in 1972/73. I know since before that it was in swedens biggest car magazine Vi Bilägare (that I work for, and thats how I found the car), but it was also in the american Car & Driver magazine and in Volvos customer magazine Ratten!

i met jj when i was in australia in october/november and asked him about the 165 and he said that it's going albeit slowly. it's apparently at the paintshop and waiting it's turn to get painted.
