The drawbacks of living in what often feels like an island or other country!

Its now sold. I had it on eBay but I family who live in Newquay made me an offer so I sold it to them.

Hopefully I will catch a glimpse of it from time to time.

Meanwhile I have moved on to a Honda Jazz auto from the Honda main dealer just down the road. At least there servicing costs are cheaper than the only Volvo independent I could find..........

If you ever find yourself owning another 940, let me know and I'll give you the number of a bloke in Carbis Bay who lives and breathes RWD Volvos. He's got every spare you can possibly need and is one of those blokes who can just listen to an engine and diagnose the problem. Extremely good value for money and he's quick too.

I gave him a call a while back when my 940 wouldn't fire up. He was at my house in 20 minutes and diagnosed the problem and replaced the part in less than half an hour (cracked dizzy cap). I've been told by other people to avoid that garage in Long Rock a few times although I've never had any dealings with them.
