When I was kid (about the year nineteen-eleventeen), an eccentric guy in a village up the road from us had a hearse as his everyday car. His three kids used to ride in the back where the coffin sits (pre-seatbelts obviously). Nobody batted an eyelid. That’s Cheshire for you! I wouldn’t mind but he had a beautiful pair of Bristol’s - absolutely no reference to his wife, and no 1970s pun intended….
