The dreaded ABS/Tracs Warning lights
I have the "designed in" fault by Volvo of the ABS/Tracs module failure on my 850. Reading all the Volvo forums, I have found these can apparently be repaired.
Has anybody had theirs repaired? Was it successful? I have found Car Electronic Services of Southampton UK who repair them. Cost is £228.....with a 2 year warranty. Seems a little pricey, Victor Roca charges $130 (£80) in the US for the same service. Anybody know any others (in the UK) Chris |

RE: The dreaded ABS/Tracs Warning lights
At Nordic, it actually comes out at nearly £300 including VAT etc. and only a 1 year warranty, so repair for £228 all in with a 2 year warranty seems appealing.
I can't believe there is only me that has gone thru this process. Anybody else had their control module repaired? |
