....things seem to have got complicated as the description i had given for the CMP is completely different to your model in Vadis, does it have one or two screws holding it to the engine, if it is different i don`t understand why you did not mention it in your last post?.....you don`t state your engine code, is it B4204T3 or B4204T5.....i don`t know what scanner you have used for to get the code but on the sheet below your code is not mentioned for your model?....

sorry should have said, It had one bolt holding the cover on. My chasis number is YV1VS37622F856562
I am using the the U480 memoscan reader as that seem to be the one most people on here recommended my engine is the B4204T5. I drive the car 50 miles a day and it may have a problem twice a week where it will cut out or just not tickover with out bouncing idle. If i switch engine off for a few mins and back on it seems to clear it. Car just passed MT so emissions were o.k, i am averaging 33 to 35 mpg. so seems to be running o.k just this annoying cut out, Have clean ICV, throttle body, It has new volvo spark plus and air filter. It has full service history. not really sure where to look next. the only clue i thought was the p0017 code. |

........as said per my last post ,there doesn`t seem to be a code for that OBD11 number as per Volvo spec`s for your model.......there are other codes but they specifically say that the dash light should be ON and you do not mention that.....it would not of passed the MOT with a MIL light on......so you may just have oxidation on some leads, earths, or loose leads whatever, even a camshaft seal leaking or VVT not adjusted correctly.......if you are really annoyed with the odd situation of cut outs, it looks as though it is a dealer visit.....

not had change to get to volvo but have been keeping an eye on when it stalls etc.. I have notice that it only intermittantly stalls when there is 1/2 tank of fuel or less. The other strange this is the computer that gives remaining fuel drops a lot at the same point, e.g say 140 miles drive 10 mile only have 60 left, car stalls turn off and back on and car o.k for a bit and remaining fuel starts to go back up to where it was.
I am thinking maybe fuel pump as the car has done 140000 miles it has full history but i cannot see a pump listed in any recipts, Whats your thoughts guys. |

I have a 2013 s60 t5 that is giving me that same code p0017 and p0016. It doesn't stall but is sluggish and hesitates at times. Did you ever get your problem fixed?
