Default 850 t5 lambda light

Hello folks
Lambda light came on yesterday whilst driving.
Have plugged in vol-fcr today
The only "codes" present is in the immobilizer 2 section,
Unknown DTC FF
Lambda light has not reset and codes will not clear.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Vol Fcr can not read the M4.3 from the 850. Delphi DS150e can. If the car is MY96 or 97 it can even show you live data.
Alternatively you can solder yourself a self made blinking box which can read and erase the fault codes.

The stock 850 T5 had the M4.3 ECU, there are M4.4 mods. Anyway in that case you need to reroute the cables in the OBD Port in order for VolFcr to be able to talk to the M4.4.
OBD Pin 3 goes to Diagnose cable Pin 7
OBD Pin 5 goes to Pin 5
OBD Pin 16 goes to Pin 16.

Only the 20V N/A engine from 96 onwards had the M4.4 and the 850 AWD with the LPT engine from MY97 had M4.4.
If yours is a AWD then you do not need to reroute the wires.

Eventually read code 2-3-2 and traced to broken vacuum pipe underneath inlet manifold.
I replaced PCV and vacuum pipes today and now all is well.

Didn't quite understand scutydes information so I tried reading codes using home made blinker in pins 3 5 and 16 first and that seemed to work.
