Question 2010 XC60 - Satnav - Recent update CD or replacement unit

Hi,

I've got a 2010 XC60 with built in Satnav. Latest update I have is from 2013, so somewhat out of date and almost useless in city's/towns (generally ok to get to areas, but doesn't include new one way systems/roadworks etc).

Is there an OEM provider for more recent maps or recommendations for a replacement unit which will integrate into existing controls (steering wheel etc).

Thanks.

The best advice? Get a tomtom. Honestly, Volvo sat navs are not the best.

The system is very highly integrated into your vehicle.

You can purchase map updates from the dealer:

I'm not sure what system the 2010 XC60 has but the above website will help you locate it. The nav systems were used across many vehicle models.

Default thanks.

I think I'm going to look for a Tomtom, as the last update for the satnav I have is 2-3 years out of date.

Thanks for the replies.

Is where I get mine from, you can get individual discs rather than the whole set.

Default Map update

Contact your dealer for the sensous software update this lets you update maps with a USB drive and the map updates are free for life.
The software update is approx £99.00.

If you are keen you could try something like this. Its a modular replacement for the whole system that interfaces with the steering wheel controls. I am pretty sure I have seen RHD versions.

Unable to take photos, but the maps are the same as the original but you do less driving across fields !! Also allows post code entry that the original didn't.
