Default Radio replacement with factory amplifier.
Hi,

I have a 2007-2008 (57 plate) S60 2.0T Sport and plan to replace the radio, but I believe it has the built-in amplifier (better sound system optional extra). What is the procedure to wire a new radio in for this?

Sorry, forgot to mention this! A Pioneer FH-X730BT.

Might I add too I know how to wire a radio normally, have done it a few times in a past, just have never encountered a factory amp!

It's got the parking sensors too, will these stop working if I replace the radio?

Also, would it be possible to have the old steering wheel controls work with it?

I have a Pioneer AVH-X2500BT ready to fit into a Volvo S60T.It has all the wiring needed including steering wheel control and amp.lead,Microphone for Ipod-Iphone and other leads.

I bought it like it is I just can't get used to it.
