Default XC90 V8 conversion

I have just bought an XC90 V8 and I am looking to convert to lpg. Maybe I should have asked about this earlier. Is there anybody out there who has done this? Searching the forum it seems like the advice may be a little old now. I understand the spare wheel tank may only offer 180 miles range which I am totally happy with because I do not do many miles (7000 a year or so). A garage in Leeds is offering a romano system at £1400 fitted online but has not replied to my enquiry yet. Is there any advice on what system to have?
I have read about fuel pressure warnings, is this something anyone has experience of?

thanks

You will need a switched petrol return line fitting to keep both the fuel trims correct and also stop the EML from coming on where fuel pressure faults are detected. The emulators most installers fit do not work and cause fuel trim issues.

You will also want a Flashlube system fitting to project the valves and that will add around £150 to the conversion for the correct type of system.

180 mile range is not too bad tbh as long as you have a filling station nearby.

Thanks. I pass a station selling lpg everyday on my way to work. 59.9p a litre at the moment is definitely appealing.
I had a look at the photo but could not pm you (not enough posts yet). I cannot spot what you mean but I do not know what I am looking for to be honest.

looking at your past comments you clearly know your stuff on this topic. Would you know of any companies who have previously installed lpg on the v8 engine successfully? I live in Yorkshire but would travel to get it done right. I know nothing about the engineering side of lpg so any advice will be appreciated.

Sorry I cannot pm because of lack of posts.

Get several different opinions before making up your mind. My vote goes to Autogas 2000 in Thirsk. Ask for Chris or John. They are the doggie's wotsits when it comes to LPG.

I did 250,000 trouble free miles in my V70 conversion from them.

Where is that? Sorry for hijacking the thread BT I live in Wakefield and work in Huddersfield. I go to the shell station in lockwood in Huddersfield that is at 59.9p/litre, but I'd like to know if theres another nearer to home just as cheap

Don't need flashlube installed with this engine. Its being used normally for ford engines. I drive 3.2 xc90 without any lubrification and is great. By the way 180 miles can happen only on motorway. I do about 160 around London and 200 on motorway.
