I'm an old Audi customer and now that I have a Volvo, I wont return to german cars.
I know that Volvo does not have the same capabilities as a Land Rover but you should really read reviews about the XC60 offroad capabilities.

In terms of overall quality, comparing Land Rover to a Volvo is the same as comparing a Skoda with an Audi. People and Skoda car sellers will say its the same thing bla bla bla same engines, same body work etc but its not.
Different build qualities, different durabilities etc.
I would check the XC90 or the XC60

Default quality

I have had several Audis and several Skodas.

Skoda every time for me. I would buy another Skoda in a heartbeat but not another Audi.

I have done about 250,000 miles in various Skodas without one single solitary problem.

I know this is off topic really.

Offtopic as well, I've seen electric windows falling into the door cover, parts that fell off on Fabias, plastics that snap with heat, etc
Yes you can do a lot of km because you share the same body and motors but the rest is low cost materials to lower the prices. Or else why would you have 4 brands that produce pratically the same models for each segment? price orientation for certain markets.
So no, Audi is not and it will never be the same quality level or has a worse quality level than a Skoda...
You did 250k miles in various skodas and I did 210k miles on an Audi that I sold like it was a brand new car.
If the car rolls for many km it does not mean that it's good or bad. You have ****ty Renaults that roll for 500k miles if needed...

I agree it looks stunning - has anyone test driven one of these?

I found a nice review of the Volvo SUV line up here, what they are missing is a comparison of the V90 V60 and the two cross country variants: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcG-uF1oeD4&vl=en

I didn’t think the V60 CC was available until around March, so not sure if any in showrooms yet?

Looks like a modernised XC70. The guy at the dealership did say as such. Not seen one in the flesh yet.

I like the black trim (de-chrome) round the windows, especially on the R Design:

Have similar thoughts to OP all the time, even through I do love my current V90 and would be tempted with another Rdesign (PRO variant) next time or a similar PRO V90CC. Must admit the 20/21inch wheels do change the dynamic look of the current V90's over the 18's. Whatever the spec it would have to include the 360 camera.

Curiosity has me looking at the current 5 Series touring, but would have to trail one to be convinced.

Agreed, do like the (de chromed) black window trim, wish they would back the chrome grill surround also.
