Just a quick question regarding the auto wiper setting. Does the light on the rain sense button (right stalk) stay lit when auto wipers are activated?

Reason I ask, is mine lights up for about 2 seconds and goes off. My auto never works.

Ha, I found out today why the light never stayed on.
I pulled the cover off the rain sensor, only to find the plug was not connected.
Odd, I thought, so plugged in it. Switched on auto, and green light stayed on. All good.
Then about 10 minutes later, wipers went beserk. Not a drop of rain in sight. I then found out it couldn't be turned fully off. With green light out, it was still wiping every few seconds.

Needless to say, I pulled the plug on the sensor.

Any ideas as to what has happened? Is it a faulty rain sensor? Or something else?
