Thumbs up Fuse Blown??

Whilst enroute yesterday, the DVD screens in rear of headrests went dead. Also Power from PS2 generated from 12V cigerette lighter dead. Now Phone on steering wheel and display dead.

RTI sat nav OK and car and radio/cd ok.
I assume this is the fuse issue???

Tried to locate which fuse to change, but not as easy to find as spread in 4 locatons around car!

Anyone know where specifically the fuse may be?
i.e from which set,
1.boot
2.Door reveal
3. under dash
4. bonnet

I have checked fuses in boot and in door reveal and all seem ok from visual inspection! WOuld expect it to be a 30A due to 12v lighter dead!!??

Is this a warranrt item?? or wear and tear as under 1 year old?

thanks in anticipation

You need to check all the fuses as more than 1 may be blown. IMHO sounds like you are running too much kit on 1 circuit. The power invertor for the PS2 usually need a hefty current to work.

Do not be tempted to swop for a higher rated fuse. Fuses blow for a reason and are a safety device.

Probably easiest to get the installers to check it out. Difficult to diagnose without seeing the car. I'll hazard a guess and say the rear screens have been wired into the same circuit as fag lighter, easy ignition feed for most installers. I could probably fix in 10 mins but im in Co. Antrim!!!

You need to completely remove a fuse from its holder to check it, looking just at the top is a waste of time, you will not see the blown one.
