S80 Power Steering Rack

I need a power steering rack for my S80 (xx53 xxx). This is a diesel car. The part is flagged 'EXPIRED' by Volvo.

I would counsel you to think about using one of the express refurbishers to fix yours as sourcing the correct one can be a problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. The ads I have seen for an organisation to refurbish my existing rack ask for £300. I have to remove the rack here, ship it to north midlands, await return and then refit the refurbished rack. A rack from a breaker would be cheaper and my local garage are prepared to fit a rack if I supply it. They will take care of any replacement parts needed.

S80 steering rack just bought from a gent in Texas - and yes, it is a RHD unit and it is even from an '03' car (2004 model). Lucky me.
