it is in leeds.

"Where are you located?"

"It is in Leeds"

There are of course two possibilities here - Leeds in Yorkshire, and Leeds in Kent. But I would deduce, Watson, that from the reference to the town of Clitheroe, the northern location is the more probable. However, it is a classic error to theorise on insufficient data.
But here, if I am not mistaken, comes a further post supplying that deficency.

Depending whether i get a 240 or a 245 in the next few weeks, possibly next week if atall possible, I would be very interested as I need a large bulky rack that can take a bit of stuff (kayaks, mountainbikes, 8spare wheels/tyres for russian roulette rally, that sort of thing!!).

Also the cars I am looking at are way south of my sunderland location so I would travel within 15miles of leeds (A1M) anyway!

If you have still got it I'll give you a shout when I secure a car!

Thanks, James

Would this fit a 940?

Technically it wont fit a 940 - however i have a 240 Volvo roofrack - which i have modified to fit my 740.

I simply took the legs off one side and mounted them on the outside instead on inside of the rack. Technically the bolts are now under more stress - but it hasnt collapsed yet.

I am sure I should add a legal disclaimer at this point!
