Underbonnet (... hood?!) sound-deadening
I understand that the 240 did not come with any sound deadening material fixed under the bonnet? However, there do seem to be holes to fix such.
Does anyone know where I may locate such a panel? |

Late model 240s did have sound deadening under bonnet, suggest you try breakers yards for any late models.

Turbos (but they never made it to the UK, I believe?), Diesels, 262C and certain others, like the 1993 GLT.
(Sorry for the size, but it's a nice picture!) Erling.
