Wish list for 1997 V70 T5

Hi all

Looking a few bits for my newly acquired V70 T5 Auto. I will update as I start to sort the car, but initially I need:

Airbag slip ring which controls the indicators self cancelling

Airbox complete to replace silly high flow air filter (this will be for sale as soon as I get an airbox, so if someone wants to swap....)

Drivers front fog lamp with grill and mounting bracket.

(Long shot) Towbar neck - piece from the towbar mounting to the ball.

Headlight wiper arm, passenger side, possibly 2 motors too.

Genuine dog guard

VOL-fcr lead

I might have some headlamp wiper bits left over from the R I broke, will look for you.

I have a box of odds and ends from that car which I'm going to box up and send away with the current R when it goes in a few weeks. I'll send you a list of bits in that box and if there's anything you want from that stash it's yours for postage costs and a pint

the airbag & indicator cancelling parts are two separate parts afaik, will have a look in a bit as I have mine in pieces outside

I may have the towbar part, are you after a swan neck style bar?

I have some arms & motors but have no idea if they work!

Yes, swan neck part, don't care if it has a bolt on ball fitting etc, although a detachable would be nice!

I know the 850 was all the one part, I've not stripped mine so if you could confirm that would be excellent, let me know what you have and how much, I'd be interested in the motors too as I may be able to repair them or make good ones out of the bits. Not even sure if mine are plugged in lol

I have an Airbox from my R for sale as well as a foam oil-free Pipercross Filter in as-new condition for sale as well..



Would £45 for both plus postage be reasonable? The filter cost me £38 and selling it for £25.
Would obviously have to post as I'm in Glasgow. Let me know what u think.

They are all one part although they do come apart! The trouble with them is they are nearly all broken!

I will have a hunt for the towbar but am currently swapping a manual 850 t5 engine in a 2000 v70 2.5 so things are a bit of a mess round here!

Thanks for the replies everyone, still looking for a dog guard but I think I'm sorted out for everything else, but as I start working at it I may need more or the deals may fall through!

if you want the crystal headlights and egg crate grill I've mine still for sale.

like the car, 2 no-shows wasting my time.

Paid £300 for them, will sell for €300.00 (£260.00) if interested.

As much as I'd love them mate, they would be the best bit of the car and 1/3 of the value lol
