Default Bluetooth icon in Volvo app?

Had an icon pop up in the app that has a Bluetooth image, wasn't there yesterday.
Anyone know what it's about?

Random? Not noticed any updates to VOC, perhaps some new functionality that has not been 100% implemented yet?

So tested this further.
The bluetooth icon appears when in bluetooth range of the vehicle, the moment I walk further away or behind a wall it disappears.

I wonder what functionality that brings to the table then? Assumed all communication would be via the app and WiFi/mobile data.

I get this too. I find when the Bluetooth icon shows, the charging status updates more frequently and the lock/unlocking of the car is pretty much instant (within 2 seconds of clicking lock/unlock).

I'm hoping that this provides future support for a digital key where we can start the car and drive with just our phones. Our polestar friends have already had this functionality for a while and as the cars are based on the same software and hardware architecture I can't see why not! It also means I can throw away the horrible black plastic key fob!!!
