  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

You can do it without a press I did👍
I’m keeping my car forever so wasn’t going to put new Volvo ones in only for them to fail again.

I’m Pleased I fitted the powerflex ones.

Around £350 in total (that's for both sides with genuine Volvo parts). That figure included the 4-wheel alignment. I know prices have increased since I got mine done and garages labour rates vary depending on location, so I'd expect anything up to £400 nowadays.

**You need an alignment after you replace the trailing arms, as obviously the rear is likely to be out of spec due to the work/could have been out of spec before the work anyway. Some independent's will have the equipment to do the alignment, but not all do. Just keep it in mind that if the garage you use doesn't have tracking equipment, you'll have to pay to have it done elsewhere. Make sure you get a proper 4-wheel alignment too... front alone is no good, as work will be done on the rear of the vehicle.

The power flex ones won’t fail but the Volvo ones definitely will👍
