Default Mirrors , electric fold ?

I have only had my 2013 V60 a couple or so weeks so still fixing issues and doing bits and bobs.

Today I managed to get into the menus on mycar looking for the electric mirror info...can't find anything .
The electric glass movement is OK.. but I have tried to fold the mirrors in using the hold down both buttons on the control panel..nothing.

I can, however, move the mirrors, by hand, inward with no resistance so presumably they are not electric ??

Is this correct? I can't believe volvo pumped out cars without ? Was it an "extra "

Even my cars as far back as 2001 have leccy fold mirrors, the daughters 04 plate Jazz has them !!!

I think you will have to look further into that. I have had different Volvos and for many years the have all had electric mirrors including my present 2013 XC60.

It is indeed an option, unless R-Design or Summum which I think both have it as standard (I know for sure R-Design has it as standard)

It does have electric mirrors, glass, but its the fold in bit that is missing.

Definitely need to poke further then as this is an R Design version,,,correct, wheels, bumper, suspension, seats.....but no sunroof, electric seat movement but does have heated seats.

Really does seem to be poverty spec version...

May of course have changed over the years. I found the price lists for V60 2016 for Norway, and every model except Kinetic had those mirrors. But now that you mention it, I did test drive a 2013 V60 once that had almost nothing of the equipment that was listed as standard in 2016, and that one did not have electric adjustment for the driver seats.

So it may be that the first models had a lot more stuff optional even for R-Designs. If you go to your local volvo dealer you may be able to obtain a list of what the car was originally sold with.

Only the R-Design Lux gets the Auto Powerfold Mirrors in addition to a few more extras over and above the base R-Design.

Hi
Do the 2 buttons on the switch unit have a line linking them to show that by pressing them together they will fold the mirrors? Or is it just the 2 independent switches without the linking line. That might indicate weather they are designed to fold or not?

Hhmmm, not sure, by a line you mean visual cue rather than a physical connection?

Will check if anything like that when I get in from work..
