Dog Guard,Front discs,Brake pads etc - Page 2

Turns out that wheel bearings are either 36 or 40 spline (not 40/42 like I originally thought).

In general 36 fits earlier models and 40 later models, although things get quite mixed in the middle between 06-08.

So I can be reasonably confident the 36 spline model will not fit my 2010 car.

Hope this info helps someone else.
