Hi Captain Hook, I have my v70 d5 for sale the moment at 2500 there is some interest. If someone bites I might well be interested. I. Hoping for some form of Xc d5

I'll keep you informed.

Quick question, how Is the auto box? And also having owned a v70 Xc hoe is the transfer box, I know on the older Xc they are fragile?

Hi Kiwi...

Have an interested party looking this weekend, will update after his visit. The gearbox/transfer box are solid no issues, gearbox particularly good compared to the S60 D5 geartronic with genuine 78k that I owned previously. I did some reading on the transfer box and most of the threads pointed (if memory serves) to issues with 2002-2004 models. This is the 2006 model year albeit with the 163bhp non-DPF engine setup. What I remember reading was that improvements had been made to transfer box to ensure a must better life.

if you had it up for sale 3 months ago I would have bought it.

Bought 04 plate se model with 90k & fsh, no sat nav or side bars or tinted windows for £6495 from dealer. Yours is a lot better.

You can easily get £6k plus for it. Advertise it on ebay, you will be amazed by the response
