Default 1999 S40 T4 SE Red - 135k

Hi,
After 5 years happy motoring i am finally going to be passing on my beloved T4.
Just wanted to see if there was any interest on here first before i advertise elsewhere.
Photos will follow. Here's the blurb:-
Previous owners - 3
Registered - 08/04/1999
Mileage - 135k
MOT - Until Jan 15th 2013
Tax - Until September 2012
Condition - Good for age. Bonnet has few stone chips and a small burn mark from where previous owner tried to polish it! It has recently been professionally polished and will be given another doing prior to sale.
Initially failed MOT as required new offside front suspension arm and nearside front anti roll bar. Both were replaced.
The front right wing was replaced in January 12 as it had rusted, the boot spoiler has been repainted professionally too. Alloys have a few blemishes on. 6/10 i would rate them. 3 of 4 tyres were bought 29/08/12 and I have done maybe 4,000 miles since at most. I do an average of 75 miles a week to work / back.
Interior is full leather. It has electric tilt/slide sunroof and heated seats. CD player, trip computer, cruise control, the usual T4 refinements, etc etc. All work brilliantly.
Has full Volvo service history up to 84k when i got it. I have had various bits and bobs done since i bought it, any work done i have receipts for and they are in a file - all MOT certs, repairs, tyres etc etc. Since i bought it, it has been serviced regularly by a mate who has a garage in Leigh so no stamps etc in book, but you will see by looking at it i have taken good care of it.
It has had a new fuel pump fitted around 2 years ago (on forum here - you will even see my input). Have original still along with other bits and bobs i have replaced.
I have added 2 pictures initially, one shows the car after polishing the first time, the second is before it was all polished but with a new wing.
Really sad to see it go. Did a 60 mile run to Manchester airport on Sunday, still had pull in it going uphill in 5th gear, with 4 good size adults and a boot full of luggage. Really does drive well.
Please get in touch if you want more information.
Cheers,
Colin.

Hi,
Cambelt was done on last service before I bought it. I wouldn't have bought the car as knew they were prone to going.
Clutch is still original and going strong.
It is on display next to the retirement village in Buckshaw if you live near Chorley. If you don't but want to view PM me and we'll sort something out.
It's a great car and for age it's in good nick.
Cheers,
Colin.

Allways makes me laugh when people say car cam belts are prone to going.. they are if there not changed lol.

Year back i was in a dealership and the guy was trying to sell a Cavalier SRI but the customers were going on about cambelts snapping and wrecking the engine. So i told them not to worry if its been changed when it should since my SRI has been thrashed to hell and never broke neither did my dads SRI.....
