wont start

hi my 1998 t6 auto has come up with ,stop as soon as safe to do the a b s lights up on the dash.?now the car wont start,it turns over o k ,but will not start?any ideas .thanks newby dave

Is the ignition getting electricity?
Is the fuel system getting electricity?
Did anyone go under the hood frantically during the "emergency shut-down"?

Has it got plenty of petrol in? otherwise it sounds like immobiliser.
