This shows it's available for vehicles with the D5 '68' engine which looks like it included the 2017 spec.
I can't seem to get on the Polestar Optimised site now. It refers you back to the dealer. It used to be possible to check exactly what you got dependant on what model as shown in the previous post.
Does anyone know how to get back to that site via polestar (it shows unsupported protocol now)

Only when you choose MY20, then it shows the overboost option available and nothing is mentioned on the previous MY. I suspect either the ECU is different or there are some hardware changes to the latest D5 engine to make it possible.

My car is a June 2017 car (2018 model) and Polestar confirmed it gets the overboost.

Hello Nick,
Thank you for your interest in Polestar!

Yes, you will receive the overboost function and the AWD bias.

Best regards,
-Polestar

So that's mean the website doesn't show the correct information. It will be very good if they offer it to all D5 engines. I have 2017 S90 D5 PP and with this price (£495), which is available at the moment, it will definitely change my opinion of does it worth or not.

Whenever I try to get on the Poletar optimisation website I get this message. Anyone else? You used to be able to go in, select year and model and see the product code and statistics for each version.

I have just visited that website with no issues. All the data is still there so not sure what happened with you. Perhaps try again using a different browser??

I originally tried with Chrome, have just tried with Safari and get a similar response. It's only within the last fortnight that I have had this issue.
