Default What Big brake kits for P1 platform

So im starting to have a look around to see what would be the best big brake kit for the best value really.

I heard things on floating discs etc etc but really have no idea what im looking for appart from the bakes just being bigger.

Need something to endure hard braking for long periods of time without any heat fade etc (This is essential)

Whats good to have on a big brake kit to make sure I get the best out of them, ie pads, type of disc?

Previously had OEM 300 discs on and upfraded to the 320 with 0 difference so time to go even bigger really.

This is for an S40 T5 on 18" wheels. Brakes are for Track and Road use.

Hi Dom, after a search around for coil overs the other day, I found this company: https://pbbrakes.com/

I saw a set on “car cleaning Guru” C30 on his YouTube page. Look pretty trick.

Thanks Kilt, wow thats a brilliant site! Looking at those floating discs which look pretty good with those 6 pot big brake kit! Im guessing something like that should fit nicely behind the 18" wheels.

I did read somewhere that the Volvo XC90 336mm disk and caliper can be made to fit with the right carrier Not sure this was for the volvo p1 platform. Might be at least worth checking as will cost a lot less

this was it I think.... but was 336 with a bmw brembo caliper.

Dom, have a read at SS thread ref Ceika brakes, someone put that set onto S40 T5.
It made me drool for a good while, seeing pics...
but would never justify spending that amount of money on my car, so its just a "wowza" factor :/
This or Wilwood are usual "goto" choice for US guys, not sure what we can get here on this side of the pond...

The Ceika and PB Brakes looks very similar, and also a coincidence they are both located in Hong Kong? Highly likely they come from the same factory!

No heat fade makes it sounds like it's ceramic brakes you're looking for.
