2011 Ocean Race XC90 Colour Query

Hi, my brother in law has just bought a 2011 XC90 D5 in Silver and he informs me that on lifting the tailgate there is a sticker that says Ocean Race D5


I was under the impression that all Ocean Race XC90's were in the vivid Blue Colour but did Volvo later do the Ocean Race in Silver as well?

Yes, possibly. For model year 2009, the Ocean Race edition was available both in "Ocean Blue" and "Electric Silver". So maybe he has a late registered example.

You can verify the correct colour by reading the colour code on the vehicle options sticker, located in the door jamb on I think the right hand side.
