Default V70 - usage of upgrade blades

Hi,

I'm looking to change the wipers on my 1999 V70 Classic.
A lot of suppliers now have the flatter 'upgrade' models that can be used on the standard hook. Is there any reason these can't be used on my V70?

I'm looking at the Bosch AR17U for the rear for example but can't see it listed as a recommendation when I type in my model online.

thank you

None that I am aware of. Only thing is some of the conversions leave you with a clumpy attachment to the original arms and you don't get the cleaner lines of the newer cars.
I haven't seen a flat conversion for the rear.

Hi 850gle,

I have the Bosch Retrofit Aerotwin wipers on my V70 2004 Mk2 (24" & 21") and personally I much prefer the look of them, and more importantly I think they clear the windscreen better, and seem to last longer.

According to 'wiperblades.co.uk', the Mk1 V70 has two 21" blades, so the Bosch Aerotwin AR21U twin pack at £17.26 seems to fit the bill.

Can't fault wiperblades.co.uk either, excellent service.

Cheers,
Bri
