I have a dead heater unit that I shoved somewhere. If I can find it you are welcome to it for the cost of postage. I'm sure it will be possible to swap knobs etc.

Bulbs are easy to change once you've got unit out. Remember not to switch ignition on without the stereo connected otherwise you'll trigger a warning message.

I'm also after the bulbs as all but one in my S80 are blown and x1 is starting to fail in my XC70. Does anyone have any links as to where to purchase the afore mentioned bulbs ??

The ugly radio buttons you can remove and wipe them with hand sanitizer, it will remove the sticky coat and will look like new - they are black in color underneath.
