The VCX tool is instead of a Dice.
It works with Vida exactly the same as Dice though so no downside.

Just want to say thank you for your invaluable help with my recent purchase of the VCX diagnostic tool. It arrived quickly and with the links to software I was up and running in no time. I was able to connect to my 2005 XC90 and 2012 XC70 quickly and effortlessly. And to be honest it was easier than paying for my uber takeaway order last night🤪
The unit is well constructed, has a long usb lead supplied and with your instructions is good value for money. It cleared my srs warning and a couple of others too.
If there is anyone considering buying a diagnostics tool for your Volvo, I can recommend Cheshired5 and this VCX unit.

I have a Dell laptop with Windows 10, is there any way of running Vida/ Dice on this set up please, and are you able to supply what’s necessary?

I’m having problems with my 2005 XC70 and my wife’s 2010 C30. Consequently I’m looking at a ready to go ODBII package so I can problem solve a clear codes for both Volvos. I’ve never used Vida before so some advice would be appreciated.

I've got a Volvo V70 T5 - Mk.1 1999 model with ETM related error codes.

Just wondering if you might be able to help get me up and running with supplying a USB interface and the VIDA software?

I'm just preparing a Windows 7 laptop now.
