Oooh you've got the 4C active suspension stuff fitted haven't you - i.e. you've got "comfort/advanced" settings for your suspension controlled from buttons on the dash?
A very large bill is inevitable if that's the case as they are bespoke electronically controlled dampers, not standard shock absorbers. Not many cars have them fitted as it was an expensive option. That would explain why they had the wrong shock absorbers, they've probably never seen a car with that setup. I'd be on the phone to the car supermarket asking them what's going on - they agreed to repair the car so they should do so. AFAIK Volvo will have to fit them as they need to be calibrated to the car. |
