Default How do you remove REM on 2001 V70

Both brake lights stopped working today however the tailgate light still works..having read various threads on this forum I assume its the relay...I tried to remove the REM to gain access to the relay but cant get it to come out...I uncliped it at the top and can get the left hand side free too but then its just jammed...surely I dont have to remove the whole left hand side rear trim to get it out...I dont want to force it out incase I damage the REM...

UPDATE

Yes you do have to remove the whole side panel but it was easy...take out rear cargo area roller cover and you will find a 10mm bolt...undo the bolt and pull the panel out towards you holding it at the REM access...then lower it down until level with the floor and it just lifts out...easy access to all the relays...

My rear brake lights had stopped working and I replaced the relay (£6) now everything working...RESULT!

I love it when a plan comes together...and this forum too of course...Tam.
