Default V60 2013 - stupid questions!

Hi all.

I have been driving a company V90 which has been lovely however I am off to pastures new so have purchased a V60 and have some dim questions.

When I lock the car the mirrors do not retract yet there is a setting to retract mirrors manually?

On a phone call, I cannot hang up the call unless I am on the phone screen. So if I navigation is on, I am sort of boned, surely I can hang up a call regardless of the screen I am on?

I might have more dim witted questions later!

Look in MyCar settings and there should be a mirror folding option.

.......but surely you end the call by passing the "End' button on the steering wheel?

That’s what you would think ...

But it isn’t what Volvo think

From the manual:-

Incoming call
– Press OK/MENU to answer the call, even
if the audio system is in e.g. RADIO or
MEDIA mode.
Refuse or end with EXIT.

That's how my car works.

Must be right enough. I usually just let the caller hang up.

Indeed if its supposed to work it does not, infact I find that exit button does not work for a number of things tou would expect it too.

The ipod mode for iPhone is just terrible, but I am not sure if thats to do with a phone thats five years newer than it.

On my old beemer you could update the software with a USB stick I assume thats not a thing with volvo.

Another annoyance same as with the v90 is you cannot turn on the mirror heaters, super annoying when its not cold but they are wet, the beemer would come on every time.

But hey ho, it drives well thats the main thing.
