Default 1996 940 Where can I buy door trim clips please

Hi to all! Some eejit very lightly scraped the side of my car in the gym car park back in August, no damage thankfully but they knocked the trim off. I tried to source replacement similar clips in Halfrauds and my local auto spares store to no avail at the time and I'm constantly worried water will get in through the holes but I've been abroad and too busy to deal with this properly before!

You should find them here under Volvo.

Amazon and ebay are also good candidates for trim clips and usually much cheaper than main stealer prices.

As for the door, check the drain holes in the bottom where the outer skin folds round the inner door, even if water does get it as long as the drain holes are clear you should be ok as long as it can drain out.

Good to know the rubbing strip did its job and saved the door though!

When I needed some earlier this year I bought these. I think at the time they worked out at the best unit price for reasonable quality ones.

I bought them from skandix, but it was in a bigger order as the shipping rates aren't really friendly...

Hi all, thanks for all the help but no joy so far. The vehicle clips website don't seem to have the exact ones, so many lower door Volvo similar ones with millimetre measurements that it's hard to tell which is which, Roverman's link is for clips for a 140 / 240 and Forrest's Ebay link for the right ones is £22.27 for 10 which I guess I'll end up paying tomorrow if nothing else comes up but it seems a bit of a rip off, £2.22 per clip, although it's going to cost me a lot more than that for a door full of water eventually

Edit, when I enter my reg on Roverman's link it confirms: This item does not fit Volvo 940 1996 MK II [1994-1998] Estate 2.3.

I spend a lot of money on my car, she is regularly serviced and usually wants for nothing but am I the only one to think that £22 odd for the 3 tiny plastic clips I need is awfully expensive?!

Searching the net by part number 3518274 it seems that I can get them very cheaply overseas, 44p each, but then have extortionate shipping or can buy them at £2 to £3 each in Europe, I'll probably buy just the four that I need. Thanks everybody
