740 Immobiliser
Hello
Just wondered if anyone knew the best way to fit an immobiliser, to the ignition or fuel system with a possible hiden or fake dashboard switch. Thank you |

A good immobiliser will cut 3 circuits such as fuel pump , ignition feed and starter feed , all using black wire and hiding as much of it as possible .... It all add up to the thief giving up after 30 mins trying to bypass it ! I would buy a thatcham approved immobiliser kit .

If you're interested, PM me for the details. Alternatively a Thatcham-Approved Immobiliser is another good option but they normally have to be fitted by the supplier to be "officially" approved.

See Laird Scooby's reply to you, have a word with him, he has helped me no end with one for me, although I've not got around to fitting mine yet, it is a simple procedure and a very good idea for little cost. David.
