Use a silicon based rollon or sponge on antisieze.

Here in central Europe every Garage and DIY shop sells them, and they work perfectly

Apply once at the end of autmn and you will never suffer stuck doors.
Also, the silicon helps with rubber seals longevity

I thought the advice was to use silicon grease if you have any lying around?

I’m not fortunate to own one of these cars and I really like them and read this section of the forum with interest but honestly how the hell does anyone in Sweden get to work on a cold morning!!

They are tested in Spain. So things like road noise, inability to run pre-conditioning in cold weather or door rubbers with too much moisture content never came up. Swedes drive Tesla’s and i3s - they make volvos for us.

Tested in Spain!! If so then that explains it all. The swedes fancied a holiday. I work in Sweden and there are a lot of these cars about. Nearly every taxi is a V90 now and plenty of xc90s around also.

Half truth or half lie?
Volvo's are indeed tested in Spain, but not just in Spain.

Really guys? It’s called hyperbole, and it’s used to exaggerate the point. The point is the bloody things are late beta.

We had this yesterday morning at 0600. -6degC at that point...was likely down into double figures earlier.

Remote started the car to get it all warmed through and all fine.

Time to persuade the OH to put it in the garage finally...
