  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default How can My Volvo be so bad

For weeks my date has shown as 06/10 to 17/10

Yesterday my date showed as 29/09 to 10/10 (claimed 3 weeks)

This morning is slipped to a completely bizarre 13/10 to 24/10 (claimed 8 weeks) - maths don't add up

And now it's back to 06/10 to 17/10 with no claimed weeks

I appreciate I can choose not to look but in all honesty, I think they would be better not offering the service at all as it's farcical.

Oh and the dealer still says September.

Sounds like you have been caught up in the Sunday glitch.
I think it was Swishtony who mentioned this and I spotted this on Sunday 7th.
On Sunday it seems to update and give you the impression that the dates have come forward and then by Monday its either gone back to what it was or moved further out.

It does appear very flaky with a lot of people reporting some very strange behaviour on the site.

The one good thing i've found with Volvo Customer Service is you will always be asked to take part in a survey..

I keep replying to that survey with less than favourable comments!! It really is a joke in today's IT and communication age. They really would be better off not having it, it is a joke. I know of not one person that seems to have had any useful information off the site.

Yes I had noticed the Sunday glitch, this has maybe now slid into a Sunday/Monday glitch? I hope it's a glitch as mine has just been put back another week. Totally useless.

Or maybe they have run out of Inscription Silver paint, there do seem to be a lot on order!

Swish you dont seem to be having much luck with this Dealer of yours.

The Dealer should have a promised delivery date (from Volvo) so keep at them, as they are unlikely to be calling you with updates, although mine did keep me in the loop, albeit never as often as a new car owner would like.

My dealer did call to say they may have it early but were let down in the end by not enough cars for the transporter so ended up being exactly the the day the dealer planned all along.

You will/should also get a Volvo Customer Satisfaction survey (email) a week or two after your car is handed over, so use this as blackmail of all else fails, got me free servicing for some inconveniences.
