I originally purchased this car with the intent to keep it for a good few years, but after only a year and a half it has, unlike volvo fashion, it let me down quite a few times with consistent problems.
I have recently had a quote in excess of £1200 to fix it at a volvo specialist and was recommended not too fix it, and therefore don't see the worth in doing so hence the sale.
Engine is still good and strong and the rest of the body is in fair nick for age including 4 nearly new tyres. It has a good service history with paperwork to back up repairs done.

known problems:
• Steering rack leaking
• n/s and o/s track rod have excessive play
• lower steering uj seized (stopped driving becuase of this)
• Steering Angle sensor faulty (anti-skid service required)
• offside drop link excessive play
• Aux Belt tentioner noisy
• A/C pump bearing very noisy and regass req
• Power steering pump leaking
• Power steering reservoir leaking/possible split
• Intercooler leaking air and oil
• EGR valve faults (engine system service required& high emissions service required)
• Alarm fault (alarm system service required)
• offside rear brake binding (suspected handbrake)
• Auto Gearbox is generally smooth but has a thump into drive on initial pulling away

I would recommend the car to be trailer away, however it is still drivable but at owners risk has MOT until the 6th april 2020. would make a good donor car.
