Default Breaking - 1997 V70XC MANUAL- working AWD

I've just bought this off a friend, there isn't a straight panel on it and it's really only fit for breaking.

The engine runs and pulls well, it has done about 180k and would benefit from an oil flush and probably new PCV system. I drove it into the shed last week and can't see any oil leaks.

Manual gearbox - fairly rare to get an AWD manual, and would be ideal to convert an automatic R AWD. I can supply the gearbox with all the linkages etc. required.

The propshaft was removed and rebuilt, as it had a duff UJ. This hasn't yet been re-fitted as the owner wrecked the door a few months ago. So I have an as-new propshaft refurbished by NW Propshafts in Morecambe (on my recommendation as they did my V70R prop) at a cost of £250.

It also has the correct single exit AWD exhaust.

The rest of the AWD bits were pronounced healthy by the local Volvo specialist - hence the willingness to have the prop rebuilt.

Some interior bits are salvageable, cup holder arm rest, climate control bits, speakers etc.

I have a set of 4 matching original XC alloy wheels for it too.

I'm able to sort courier, delivery or collection for everything (engine and gearbox may need to be delivery/collection only) from South Cumbria, but I do travel a fair bit.

Photos here - I'll add photos to this folder as I go.

Will drop you a message once I've removed it and have an idea of condition.

I can measure the diameter of the steering wheel rim if you want to do the same with yours, TFB.

Grille is gone, I'm afraid.

I think you may be on to something, was your XC a slightly later model, say 1999 or 2000? I'm sure I've seen fatter steering wheels on some later Phase 1s.
