Default Anyone in Cambs, Lincs or Northants who could ...

Hi, I've just acquired a nearly-new full exhaust system from the cat back, for my T4 (thanks Gatos) and wondered if there's anyone in the Northants, Cambs or Lincs area that I could travel to who'd be able to help me to fit it.

Mine's dead so it's a straight-swap, rather than having to join it to the old pipe-work.

I've only got on-street parking where I live in Peterborough and so although fitting shouldn't be too difficult (famous last words!) I don't fancy trying to do it here.

The system is in vgc and other than a slight extended cut where the exhaust pipe was separated from the cat, all's good.

Re that extended cut it'd probably need either a spot weld, or simply to wrap the gap with some bandage or use some extra sealing putty. Quite possibly when fitted the gap will be sealed by the pipe coming out from the cat anyhow.

So that's my question, anyone able to help or suggestions who else to contact?

Thanks

Hopefully there is someone here who can help. What I was also going to suggest, is for you to also make a post in the FB S40, V40 group, as there are many more members there and hopefully, someone might be able to help

Good idea will do - there's also a local car fb gp around here so I'll try there too.
