Smile T5 remap

I've been looking into having a ECU remap for my 2000 P2 V70.
After my brother suggested CHIPTUNERS.CO.UK I decided to give them a call. The price was very good but they did advise me that on this particula vehicle the remap is applied by removing and replacing the chip in the ECU. They advised me that the MAP cannot applied through the OBD 2 connector. I was wondering if anyone out there had had theirs done and if so was this also true ?
Thanks In advance, Chris

Walk away, VERY quickly, they are 100% incorrect. HLM/Rica/BSR are ALL delivered by OBDII on your model.
