£6 for the ****y little metal clip that holds the oil cooler pipe onto the radiator!!! The guy said "5.03 plus the vat" as if this was perfectly acceptable, all the while standing in front of a metre high poster reading:
"Genuine Volvo Parts... Genuinly surprising prices" Surprising alright- like being raped is a friggin surpise! Sorry had to get that off my chest. Tom |

How about £23 for a pastic wheel centre that says 'Volvo' on it? At least our parts manager does blush !!! Hoots |

Parts prices suck don't they? As for the hose, couldn't you use a standard hose clip, or have Volvo made it so you need a 'Volvo' hose clip?
I'm trying to get an Airco Control Unit for mine at the moment and so far only one dealer has been willing to give me a price (85 euros beleive it or not, I thought that at least was cheap), the rest refused to give me any prices until they had run a full diagnostic on the Airco system, and they wouldn't give me a price for that either (let us have a look and we will see.....). Not a chance! Stu |

It's a really over-designed clip that is almost impossible to remove without destroying. I only managed to get 5.3 litres out of my t5 incl the oil filter. Sod-all came out of the oil cooler any ideas why???
