Price and distance are a problem for me, but as I was emailed photos I will post them up.

Very tidy looking car, I expect somewhere around the 700-800 would be more realistic though.

lovwely as it is, the fact its a saloon not a hatch might harm its value...id think £500 was realsitic....may well be wrong though.....i had an old 343 with 25k or so on it and it sold via ebay for almost £600..(it did have an lpg kit fitted from new though!!)....but that was in the bad old days when 300 series were seriously undervalued.....so who knows..perhaps 700 or 800 aint unfeasible.....id LOVE a 3 door 360 glt.....but they seem like hens teeth these days..

me too - i would love a 3 door 360 GLT and i was interested in this car but missed the fact that it was a saloon - it looks nice but is i suspect overpriced - or not priced to sell if you understand the difference.

regards

this is a VERY nice car i can't see the fact the saloon is worth any less that the hatch, thats got a good spec for a gle as well. it reminds me of my F reg 360GLT (F206 DAT god rest its soul) it had the black leather, fog lights, electric windows etc.. the gle has the seats and the windows, ive seen GLT's that don't have any of that. i personally like the saloons, i'd love a GLT saloon with everything my GLT did. i'd have this car up for the same price as the hatch

This is a lovely car, my 340 1.7 hatch was written off by an idiot in a bmw earlier this year and i really want another one. never thought I'd miss it so much.

This is a bit of a long shot but i dont suppose you would be interested in swapping it for a 2.0 litre volvo 440 CD automatic? has leather seats, power steering, onboard computer, fog lights etc. basically its top spec so every toy you could possibly imagine. based on what I payed for it and the similar cars i have found since its worth about the same as you are asking for this. done 70k miles with full service history and is mot'd until June, Taxed till end December but would be willing to extend that if neccesary. Let me know if you are interested and i will get some pics on their way to you.

cheers

Just to let everyone know that the car has been aquired for a neighbour of mine who has driven it some 300 miles home today. He reckons that it drives better than his new Mazda MX-5. Many thanks to Jonathan for making an 80 year old (yes with an MX-5 (and two motorcycles!)) very happy.

Many thanks. The new owner is absolutely delighted with it. I saw it this morning and other than a tiny spot of rust on the bottom of a rear door and the rear valence it looks three years old.

It travelled back 300 miles and noticably loosened up after 80 miles. It then ran like a watch.

Really makes you wonder why you want to spend £20k plus on a new car!

Thanks to everyone for all your help. The new owner will be joining the owners club immediately.

On a final note does anyone out there have a nice set of original alloys to fit this as the steel ones are a little tatty.
