Default Gearbox oil/filter

Hi
my wife has a 14plate V40 auto and its covered 30k.
Its due the yearly service and my local indie garage phoned the dealer and requested what should be covered at this time.
Dealer responded that one of the requirements is a change of gearbox oil and filter. Not a cheap job but if it needs done i needs done. I wont skimp and we plan to keep the car after the PCP ends as we love it.

Anyway, garage cant get a filter so can someone point me in the right direction of a seller that sells good parts at a reasnoble price please. The price quoted for the oil is £75 for the 7or 8 litres the car needs. If 8 xan get that chaper that would be good
Thanks for reading and any pointers will be much

Tony

Default Just a thought

I am no expert with this but I do fix my own car usually.

I do buy most of the parts online usually and they work fine.

As long as it is not a core essential part.

But I think the price of the filter you have mentioned is a bit too high.

Kind Regards
Hicham
