I would remove the driveshafts and then look in at the differential and see if anything is amiss. If nothing is obvious I think it will need specialist input.

Not sure what this apparent reputed seller was up to who sold me the driveshaft with an Adamant enthusiasm regarding that the shaft will fit. Did he read view my emails, who knows? he never answered his phone in the end all i wanted was my money back and for him not to buy time and say "its on it way" why lie, why not say "sorry mate, here's a refund" no of course not, but hey... So what i did in the end was rebuild my original driveshaft and hey bloody presto, 100 odd miles later not a hint of a problem. Trust your gut readers and those garages or scrap merchants that are Adamant they know whats best they not always do and (that's even when i sent pictures of items), if in any doubt always trust your gut, or you could end up doubting yourself and end up fitting said item and breaking down late at night in the ****ing rain on a busy roundabout in blackburn or wherever; as i was! Thank you chaps who kindly lent me your time on here your worth your weight in gold! Jason |

Really pleased that you eventually managed to sort this. You must have been extremely frustrated. You chose to solve the problem by taking what appeared to be the easiest and quickest solution, only to find that someone else had let you down and you were forced to do yourself the very thing that you were trying to avoid. I’ve had similar occurrences in the past when I thought, “why didn’t I just do that in the first place, it would have actually been quicker”.

As above ^^^^^^^
Jason, thanks for coming back on and giving us all an update. So many come on here, ask for advice which generally is freely given, but never bother to say thanks or give an update on the outcome.

Anyhow, i will always endeavour to report back with hacks, tips and tricks, like for instance i had a strange shrilling noise on certain points of idle and under load coming from the back of the engine (bulkhead area) grabbed hold of the oil filler neck and pushed engine back, noise disappeared, upshot the rear mount rubber and metals were "DRY" quick blast of WD40 and a bit of forced engine whip (BY HAND) whilst spraying cured all known noises, i had initially forgotten how things can dry out when a car is idle for a time. now 200 plus miles and all natural rubber mounts are nicely back in shape and noise free! Thank you once again chaps and chapesses' Jason |
