Polestar Optimisation is on my wish list, so your thoughts on the difference it has made will be interesting after a week or two of use.

Unfortunately the first thing I need on my 'new to me' is a Volvo tow bar.
So Polestar Opt. will have to wait a while.

Mine was the older type blue star which is still in the box. I did not fit it to the car, why advertise it's upgraded, let them find out when they eat my dust. Dealer and insurance company know and that's all that's needed.

In many areas these badges just make the car more of a target for ner do Wells.

Paul.

Got my car polestar upgrade a few week back.
Pleased with mine too.
I've put the aluminium plaque in my service folder and got the dealer to stamp the little booklet that came with it

They are also available via Amazon

I'm very happy with the improvements that Polestar has brought to my XC60.

I haven’t really had chance to give it a good trying out yet but so far so good I’m glad to say. We’re off to the Republic of Ireland soon so it’s gunna get a good working out. I’ll be able to check furl consumption changes etc

It is claimed that polestar can improve fuel consumption. In my experiance that is impossible, the smile factor is addictive. So much so that useing less fuel proves impossible. The relentless torque through the mid range will have you at hugely illegal speeds before you know it if not careful and leaving bmw drivers for dead is so satisfying.

Leave a restricted area for national limit and hit the accelerator in 3rd, 60 on the clock before you can think of a gear change, and Mr bmw is wondering where you went.

Paul.

You obviously underestimate how tight (I know how this reads by the way) Thong can be on a long run... 65mph and only thinking about how well I can make a motor do on fuel. The optimisation has given me a more rounded motor that behaves how it should and that I like. The gear changes are way better than the standard map, money well spent.

Default Polestar optimisation... don't bother.

I had the Polestar optimisation software added to my 2016 XC60 D4 2wd auto.

I don't really notice much difference in performance, gear change or MPG.

Maybe I have got too used to it and need to drive another XC60 without the upgrade.

Personally, I wouldn't bother unless you can get it really cheap.

The most expensive little boot badge I have ever bought !!
