Default EPB motor housing and bolts

Is it possible to buy just the motor housing unit and fitting bolts for the electronic parking brake rather than a whole replacement caliper?

I changed the rear pads on my 2011 V70 today and noticed both mounting tabs broken off and stripped torx heads on the offside rear, presumably by the dealer who sold it to me 4 years ago (car supermarket who changed the rear pads as part of their PDI).

I managed to wind the brake back using a 12v battery, but the EPB motor unit is loose. During the pad change, I must have wriggled it enough to make it just looser enough that the motor now slips just far enough for the EPB not to engage when I press the button.

I would bet that you may be surprised at the cost direct from the Volvo dealer as suggested by Clan

To assist you with an idea of how the dealer compares price wise have a look here

Is there anywhere cheaper to buy just the motor? The dealer price for the motor is more than the cost for a whole caliper on eBay.

Thanks for your help.

Just buy the eBay one and transfer the motor, you could then sell caliper to offset the cost of your repair.

Good idea. Just found a caliper for £78.

Does anyone need a perfectly working caliper without motor? Offside rear, 38mm piston.

You still have it? For solid disc? Part number 36001381?
