Default Polestar pricing

Can anyone tell me the cost of a polestar upgrade on a 2013 D4 SE. Lux. And how do I go about getting it done. Thanks

Not sure Polestar is available on the 2013 D4 as it is 'but just a D5 detuned'....so ''Polestarring'' it would make it a ''D5 by default'' for half the cost Volvo sell the D5 version for.

Think I am right, although others may add to or correct me?

Regards

It was the case that you could not get a polestar kit for the D4
but I believe there have been some changes

Check out the polestar website

http://www.polestar.com/en-int/start/

or do a search of this site I am sure someone had prices
Your car has to be an AWD version though.

As for getting it done - see your dealer!

There does seem to be one available now for the D4.

Though expensive (I paid £815 for my D5 upgrade) I reckon it's worth the cash.

Looks like there is!

Wonder why anyone would buy the D5 then, when they can polestar a D4 and obtain the same 215hp, because the D4 is the same twin turbo engine as the D5 - isn't it?

It is only for the my13 cars and I believe it was done quite late on. Not long prior to the my 14 cars hitting the market. So I think that if buyers were looking for the power most would have still gone for the D5

My dealer told me you could do a Polestar upgrade, only once the car was 12 months old for £500. No idea whether that was correct or not?

Because you can Polestar a D5 and get more power? Because the D5 badge has more 'street cred' than the D4 badge? Because money is not a deciding factor?

And insuring a d5 may be easier and cheaper than insuring a polestar vehicle.
