Default No driving my car for 8 weeks :(

Fell over today onto a concrete yard - still don't really know how - but ended up with my left hand breaking my fall as my right hand was full. The left hand not only broke my fall, but broke my wrist badly in the process of stopping me hitting my face on the concrete

Full marks to A&E in Winchester as they had me all plastered up and out of the door within 2 hours, excellent service - but then they spoiled it by telling me that I am not allowed to drive until all the casts come off and that will be in 8 weeks!!!

Very frustrating, and I will admit rather painful, both the wrist and not being allowed to drive

Jeez. So sorry to read that. I know how you feel as I had my left foot in a cast for 3 months. Dr said no driving even though its an auto as insurance may not like it. Frustrating times.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that bad news. Just occurred to me I gave to have knee op in about 3 months time. Also no driving for 6 weeks. What's the odds I get a date for the op pretty much same time as taking delivery for the car!

Good luck with your recovery.
