Most jap manufacturers apply little to none, but then in honesty not many of the rest apply it well so it makes little difference poorly applied is as bad as none.

I use T cut then finish off with some wax polish. Needs doing every few weeks.

Thanks.
I used t-cut on the paint work to get rid of some minor scratches...only to find that it left a dull smudge...luckily the AG polish has restored it....not tempted to use it again seen one eastern european carwash offer a full wax...which turned out to be an all over t-cut...there was no mention of a polish or wax after the t-cut... |

Sorry Kimball, been away, driving the car. Yes, do one coat. Try and wipe off within a few minutes or you'll be stuffed. Then give it an hour ( or after going round the whole car once) and give it a second coat.

Shiny sinks? Must ask the missus about that one
Wonder if a wax like Collinite can go on top of a system like Werkstat.....like a sacrificial but tough layer. Anyone any ideas?

Showroom shine is the stuff 30 mins volvo940 estate cleaned polished and protected against road tar bird s%&t and even spray paint I had comments at the BKV on how good it looks . You can use it on any part of the car but they say not the windscreen but I do and it is very effective at removing traffic film and bugs and it is not too expensive and it is safe and envioment friendly smells good too. For the black bits I use Son of a gun from local accessory shop and then the showroom shine. which you can use around the house as well. It is not silicon based either
